It’s a long way down.

By Peter

Been a busy few weeks here at OC HQ. After the media blitz, everything ramped up – a flurry of equipment purchases, prop building, location scouting and writing. The most recent draft of the script is being looked at now and is shaping up really nicely. More after the jump…

In the past few weeks, a lot has been going on. Dan has done some great work on the Warthog – more pics to come for addition on the Warthog build page. OC HQ is also now filled with even more uniform and a massive stack of ammunition boxes – all part of the push to get accurate set dressing together.

Perhaps the best news of all, we have new concept art! Adam has really pulled it out the bag for this one, entitled The Drop. Here it is – hope you all enjoy it as much as I do!

Nice work guys, and be sure to check out the new ODST live action short. I have high hopes you’ll guys will top it!

the concept art looks so kol. i could lok into getting the props from the short film. i live in new zealand. and maybe can get a hold of them for you.

I think that might be a bit of a tall order there Xboxboy121, but you’re free to try! :)

Very nice, also is there anywhere I could get that image as a desktop background?

The image will soon be uploaded to our multimedia section in the standard dimensions.

tryed to get them weta dont have them and i would have to jump through alot of bungie and microsoft hops to get to the point when they say NO.
sorry but tryed.

Saw the new pilot helmet, looks great. Have you guys made any UNSC weaponry? I noticed there weren’t any. The only things that were there are the Brute Spiker and Spike Grenade (they look great too).

We’ve made a start but there are several hold-ups on my gun-maker’s end. We will have updates and photos as soon as we can. :)

wow cool

you guys are fighting good for the project :)

Looking forward to that!

The concept art is superb; you should ask for donations for people to get desktop wallpaper sized versions of it.
