The producers will need to find funding, a director and so on. In that time all manner of problems may arise, so will it succeed? Maybe. It also depends on how you quantify success - I've already been vocal about Stuart Beattie, and it's his involvement I am most concerned about considering his current track record. I really didn't think much of GI Joe, or some of his other films - though Collateral was great. As for OC not being included on IMDb, the group of film makers are for the most part rookies or not known for doing what it is they're doing. Without a running record of productions under our belts, no film is going to be "greenlit" on IMDb until it's at least mid-way through filming. A few years ago it was announced that Jackson and Garland were going to make a Halo movie.... that broke down. Now its Spielberg and Beattie. Do you think this attempt to make the move will succeed? Oh, and I saw that post on IMBd, its odd that OC wasn't approved to the site, I mean you've actually made some of the props and are building the Hog.
